Privacy Policy

AI Workspace OS ("we", "our", "us") is a Chrome extension that helps you save and reuse AI prompts, personas, projects, and knowledge on popular AI platforms. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

By default, the extension is local-first: your workspace stays on your device in IndexedDB. Signing in is optional and only needed for cloud backup and sync.

Local use (no account): Prompts, personas, projects, and other workspace data are stored in your browser using IndexedDB and Chrome's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.

When you sign in: We collect your email address and the prompts you choose to sync to the cloud. We also store basic account information such as when your account was created.

Authentication: If you sign in with Google or a magic link, we receive your email address and name from your identity provider.

Usage data: We may collect anonymous technical logs (such as error reports) to keep the service reliable. We do not sell your personal information.

Local prompts remain in your browser until you delete them or uninstall the extension. Cloud-synced prompts are stored on secure servers hosted by our infrastructure providers (for example, Vercel and Neon).

We use industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We use trusted providers to operate optional online features:

• Google — optional sign-in
• Resend — magic-link emails
• Stripe — payments for Pro plans
• Vercel / Neon — hosting and database

These providers only process data needed to deliver their service to us. Their own privacy policies apply to how they handle data.

• Export your workspace from extension Settings
• Request deletion of cloud data by contacting us
• Uninstall the extension to remove local data from your browser

AI Workspace OS is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of AI Workspace OS after changes means you accept the updated policy.
